This shot was taken Labor Day Weekend when i was at the beach. I like this picture because it was cloudy outside and not your typical beach weather, and I think that the waves look choppy. I added brightness and contrast to this picture.

I took this picture because she always has the best facial expressions! The edits I made to the picture were cropping and adding a filter.

I shot this picture 2 weeks ago while I was shooting for the portrait project. I shot this out side my house on the drive way. I like this picture because it is in the moment and its a fun picture.  The general edits I made were I brightened it and added definition. In photoshop I added a filter called texturize.

This picture was shot at my house during the first nine weeks when we we're first taking pictures, I was just practicing taking pictures and I liked the way this one turned out. I changed the saturation and some other things so it would have the golden look. 

Sydney A. - Mystery Caterpillar

This image was shot a few weekends ago at the lake in trace crossings. I shot it because I thought that the caterpillar was beautiful! I love all of his colors! Maybe in the spring I can find the butterfly that will result… anybody know what kind he will be? The only edits that I did to him where increasing the contrast and adjusting the curves.

I took this picture in Callaway Gardens in Georgia last spring break. I love how vivid the colors are and how the few flowers in the front are in focus and the background isn't. I didn't make very many edits to this, I just boosted the saturation and contrast.

This photo was taken way back when we were doing our "About Me" project. I took this photo outside while it was raining to show that I love rainy weather. My favorite thing about it is how you can see the rain falling in the background and the angel that I took it at. The edits I made to it was fading the color to give it a more black and white look.

This is a picture of my friend Jordan. I took this photo about two weeks ago at her house. I like the way the light is coming in on her face and how she really stands out in the picture. I edited in by raising the lightness and contrast of the photo. I don't like how part of the background is light and part of it is not.

This picture was taken on Veteran's Day last weekend. I believe I was standing in front of a mirror in my room. I was originally taking this picture intending on using it as a self portrait for the Portrait project, but I'm unsure if I'll actually use it. I really love the natural lighting. The only light source was the sunlight coming through a window. I love how the main thing that is in focus is the camera lens, but there are still other elements like my hands and the camera strap that add interest to the picture. I did not make any edits to this picture.

I took this picture about 2week ago, in my backyard. I really like it because of the colors and the contrast i added to it. The blue of my converse and the orange/red of the leaf really stand out. I added contrast and made the background black and white.

Lane P. - Oh Daniele

This shot was taken November 14th at the beginning of school. I was honestly in a rush to get my assignment done and had my friends meet me at the back gate for a quick photo shoot. This is my friend Daniele who is always smiling and laughing. I took out some of the wrinkles around her nose and cropped in the picture as far as edits go. Other than that I didn't do anything.

This is a picture of a doodle i drew. i took this picture back in the about me project. i like this picture because of the angle of the shot and how the pen really sticks out. The only edits i made were just messing around with the adjustments, boosting the saturation.

This picture was taken in my backyard about a week ago. It's my best friend Carly Parrish who is amazing! I made the picture black and white with the exception of her eyes. I really like how it turned out!

This image was shot outside of my home on a weekday afternoon. I shot this image because I liked how it was a little dark but not completely dark and I liked the effect it gave the light. The general edits I made were I cropped the photo, enhanced it and faded it two times.

i took this picture outside in the courtyard. i really like the angle and where he is placed in the picture. i also like the background. i enhanced the photo to make everything stand out better.

I shot this picture at the beginning of the year at the ESPN game. It is a picture of the big Hoover on the football field in the stadium. I took it because it was the only time that part of the field was clear. I just really liked it because the turf was really green and bright. I enhanced the colors, increased the sharpness and touched it up in some spots

This picture was taken during the night and day project. This picture was shot on south shades crest road. I shot this picture because I like the blur effect of the lights. no edits were made to this particular photo.

This Photo was shot a couple of weeks ago for the Night & Day project. It was taken at the Galleria and it is off two of my friends sitting on top of a cement block. I like how my friends are a silhouette and the sky is really blue. In Photoshop all i did was increase the saturation and played around with the contrast.

This Photo was shot in Cullman. It was Shot about a month ago when i was at my friends house looking at his car he has been working on. I really like the view of the car and how you can see how it is coming together. I adjusted the color and that is the only edit i did to this image.

This is a photo that I took for the Night & Day project a few weeks ago out in front of my house.  I like the angle that the picture was taken from and also the contrasting colors. I just adjusted the levels and curves on this photo.

This picture was shot after school one day, when it was partly cloudily so the lighting was really good. It was shot in Riverchase. I like it because she is throwing the leaves which are in focus and she stands out because of her pink shirt. I made the picture sharper and boosted the color.

The Health Science Academy students went to Atlanta for a field trip and while we were on lunch break, we saw some Reindeer by the movie theater and we all got pictures. I like the antlers on the deer. They are so cool and abstract on each deer in the shot.

I took this picture two weeks ago. I took it at my house in front of my garage door. I shot this picture because i thought the white garage door would work as a great background to the formal shot. I like the contrast between the black in her hair and shirt against the white background. I blurred the background so it didn't take away from the shot. I also changed it to black and white.
