I took this picture this summer in July. I was staying with my aunt, uncle and cousins in Louisville, KY. There's something about flowers that really catches my eye and I love getting to take close up shots of them. They're a great subject to shoot, especially because the don't move! I really like the way it focused and how the background is blurred out. I think when I edited it, I boosted the color and saturation and blurred the edges.

I really like this picture because of the contrast in the pinks and greens. All of the colors in this photo are very defined and the flowers are very sharp. I also like how there are other flowers in the background that are out of focus. Great job!
